Unfortunately, I suffered from insomnia last night, so I have these ugly bags under my eyes. Does any of you girls know how I can get rid of them?

Preparation H is supposed to work wonders. Sincerely - Conan O'Brien swears by the stuff! As for wine, well... don't go to the depanneur is the only advice I can give you. A nice Valpollicella or a Masi is always good!

I don't know if you get California wines up there, but if you do (and I don't see why you wouldn't)...

I can highly recommend a zinfandel named "7 Deadly Zins" - it's delicious with anything.
Also, if you can find Forest Glen Winery wines - go for a 2002 or 2004 cabernet. Also good with anything and has a wonderful rich chocolate overtone.

Most any pinot noir in the $10-20 range will be good too. Possibly a Santa Margherita (sp?).

Good luck!

Thanks girls, for all the advice!! I get got off the phone with my "date". He's so sweet, called to ask me whether I'd like chicken or fish for dinner and what type of vegetables. I went for blackened fish (cajun-style)with sweet potatoes. What do you think, good choices? I must say that this guy is beginning to grow on me.

I might try taking a little nap in my office (sshhhh, don't tell my boss), then the hot-cold water thing, and if that fails, Preperation-H (although I don't like the idea of putting something meant for the behind on my face). Hopefully, all that will make me look and feel refreshed!!

Sorry to have hi-jacked this thread!!!!! Good luck with tonight Mim!

In the infamous words of Meat Loaf:

"And the good girls go to heaven, but the bad girls go everywhere..."

What's wrong with sitting down face to face? That's the best part. Let look him in the eyes a lot and flash big smiles.

Up front always works for me, I love it when a woman is up front - litraly .
Confident, charming, and easy going is a key. Failing that copious amounts of alcohol also works, good luck.
