My absolute favorite movie of all time inspires me to go to Paris... visit it, get the feel of it, live there, etc. It's Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amélie Poulain by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. It's also known as Amélie in the States if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, the photography is spectacular! One of the most visually pleasing shots is of Amélie throwing stones on the Canal St-Martin. Simply gorgeous! Also, the scene where little Amélie's mom, Amandine, throws her goldfish into the river (along with its bowl). Beautiful. Send me there!

I adore the music! It can get you through most of the different moods we can face, I find. Plus some of the songs like "Soir de Fete" are from Gotan Project, which leads into Buddha Bar style music, which I'm really getting into. What a wonderful movie! I think I'll go watch it right now!

I heard about that one. I wasn't sure if it was from France or Quebec. I totally wanted to see it and now I think I will!
