Hello all!

I'm thinking of visiting Jersey sometime in June. However, I'm not exactly sure what's there and whether it's worth a visit. Any advice?

Thank you very much.

Cheers,
Lionel

hi lionel
to be honest, i've never been to jersey myself, but a friend of mine has an uncle on alderney and my godfather was on guernsey last year and when they showed me their pictures i knew, i'd have to go there because it looked beautiful!
i searched the web and maybe this link can help you with your decision:

all of the channel islands are something for travellers who search tranquillity, unspoilt nature, wildlife and places to relax. if you are looking for party - i don't think you'll be happy there!;)
hope i could help,
marina

Hi

the Channel Islands are lovely, with just thre right mix of french and english.

So why visit? A must see on everyone's list if you are into history, countryside, good food and walking (coastal walks in particular). Children also love the beaches, fab rock pools in some areas!! I would recommend you hire a car if you on either jersey and guernsey, but you can get around using the buses.

Alll of my family and many of friends have stayed on one or more of the Islands, various ages and interests and all have said they want to go again, and some of us have! A couple of friends have also lived there for a few years.

You can enjoy an island for a weekend break, or stay longer . . .how ever long you stay though i think it is a great place to visit.

B
