Im pretty new to this but thought I would give it a go to see what sort of advice I could get. Im travelling to London in July then plan to do Croatia and the Greek islands and a few other places then back to London to live and work for a while, that’s the plan anyway. I have heard about the Bus'A'bout, can anyone give me some info on that? Also any tips on accommodation etc. How much do u thin k ill spend a day travelling through Croatia Greek islands Italy etc. Im backpacking so don’t want to spend too much but rough estimates i.e.: food, accommodation, drinking etc. If anyone could give me any useful information, advice and tips would be much appreciated!!
I don't know anything about this bus a bout service you're talking about but you can fly pretty cheaply on easyjet or ryan air to the greek islands and probably to croatia as well from teh uk.
Also, if you wanna travel on the cheap round the UK ( which i suspect you do!), i'd advice using the 'mega bus'- they have a website- they are ridicloulsy cheap. Ok its just really basic buses that they use, but you can get a return ticket from london to glasgow for £15!! where are you staying in the uk? have you got a job lined up?
Try £2 Glasgow to London. My mate Neil did this, but you have to book well in advance. We booked within a week of our departure from Glasgow to London to cover an event and it cost £12 return each.
Unfortunately, the MegaBus is the only thing cheap about Britain's transport system. Whatever you do, don't go anywhere near a Virgin Train.
Thanks for that
How much do you think I'll be spending a day on food accomodation etc. What would u say a good amount is to budget a day is?
I havent got a job as yet becasue Im travelling straight away. My cousin lives in london so while we set up we can saty with her.
