The use of the word bloody is deemed too offensive by the English Censors. Tourism Australia to send softer version.

Ad is visible here - does that count as a promo?

I dunno. Seems a bit storm-in-a-teacup-ish, really.

You know, for all the fuss about the word 'bloody', I would have thought the word 'hell' would have been more likely to offend.

Any guesses what the 'softer version' might be?

The softer version could be:

Where the dickens are you?

oooh i dont know majito...i'm sure the'll be whinging poms screaming at their t.v's with that one as well...they seem to take offence and cause a scene whenever possible!

I think the British censors have inadvertantly created a PR windfall for Australia. I bet you a dollar its in all the tabloids and on all the major tele stations.

Remember back into the archives of everything banned by the UK censorship people, it did the world of good. Relax by Frankie goes to Hollywood made it to number one in the charts, and thats just the one of the top of my head....Im on holiday (and so is my brain). But everything banned always makes its way onto Tarrant on TV so people in the UK wont miss out entirely!!

Crazy though, Ive seen worse ads on British tv for a number of different reasons other than using 'bloody' in the language. Honestly the censors make us out to be a bunch of prudes!
