What is the best way to get to Kuala Lumpur? I have looked at trains and they seem alright. But I can't find much with buses.
Thanks for any help.

Buses are the cheapest option to get to KL. Then again... depends on which bus company that you choose. There's this new luxury express bus (Aeroline) that operates between SIN - KL which is quite expensive but very comfortable.

Check out the following sites:

Or, you can turn up at Golden Mile Complex, Beach Road where there are loads of bus companies to choose from. You should be able to get tickets on the spot but if you are travelling over the weekend (FRI-SUN), do get your tickets before hand.

Or, you can take a bus from SIN to Johor Bahru (JB) and then catch an express bus to KL. This is an even cheaper route as you'll be paying for you fare in Ringgit. If you are on a budget and don't mind breaking your journey ie. SIN - JB - KL - go for this option. But, rememeber to request for an express bus. Because if you don't and if the bus is not full - the bus will stop in smaller towns along the way to pick passengers up.

Hope this helps! Have a good time!

I took a bus journey from KL-Singapore which was pretty painless, it was really cheap...I know its the opposite route to what you are doing, but I found buses a lot more straightforward that the trains as well as a lot cheaper!I booked my bus whilst in KL just on the day and was very suprised that it actually arrived on time and there was no hassles or confusions compared to other bus trips I had made in South east asia!
