Ok,

Basically I'm flying into Singapore and want to travel up overland to Thailand (probably the islands) and was wondering has anyone else done this before ? If so did you bus/train/walk or jump it up to Thailand from Singapore ?

On a side note, we are planning on staying approx two months in Thailand, do we have to go in and out of the country after 30 days to stay another 30 days ?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

Hey I did the route in an opposite order...started out in Thailand then moved down to Singapore!Thailand is amazing, I used the buses there to get around, theyre cheap and pretty painless!!!Yeah, you get given 30 days tourist visa, so either leave and re-enter the country after this time to re-new visa or apply for your visa before you go!Get in touch with the Thai Embassy in Hull and they can give you all the advice you need, I ended up getting my visa prior to arrival in Bangkok just because I didnt have any proof of an onward ticket.
Be sure when you check out the islands to visit Krabi then you can see Phi Phi and my favourite place was Railay in Krabi, amazing place!!!!Oh yeah, and get in on the Full Moon Party action over on Koh Pha Ngan!!!!Have fun!!!
