Extremely sad

I just read two Austrian backpackers were found murdered in Bolivia, they were on a round the world trip.

This is awful news for their family.

lots of backpackers have been killed all over the world, lots of people get killed all over the world. it is no sadder when a backpacker dies then when anyone else does. backpackers are really not that special

thanks for that enlighting observation and debunking my misconception that all backpackers had some sort of extra sensory powers.

After reading all of Lou.C's posts, it looks to me like she is a little frustrated at the world and very quick to jump to simple and completely unsubstantiated conclusions. This may be a matter for moderators as she has been stirring up the shit like nobody's biz on here.

Perhaps she should travel more, mature a little bit and then perhaps come back online.

I have also read all of Lou.C.'s posts and I have a feeling that the style of the responses will improve. Some members fail to read the Forum Rules before posting, which can occassionally create problems.

Thank you for your concern. ;)

sorry i offended so many people i didn't realise people were so sensitive about death. it's a part of life. i guess i'll have to try to cater for more delicate eyes/ears.

No, the people here are not sensitive about death. They're just sensitive with the way you expressed yourself about the death of the backpackers. I believe they won't be so disturbed had you commented on that in a different way.
