My advice................Bring a big coat and dont expect to see any snow until the end of Jan begining of Feb, if your used to the warmer weather..............bring an electric blanket! any further information give me a shout.

Yikes! Now I'm totally nervous! It didn't even cross my mind that I'll be in Europe in the wintertime! October 23rd I'm going to Africa to climb Kilimanjaro, safari, Zanzibar, Bribane Australia, Auckland New Zealand, Greece, than once I get to Rome (whick will be around dec,jan) I'll travel alllll over Europe by train.

Is that bad??? Wow! It really didn't dawn on me about the snow thing! I've never traveled anywhere, so it's all new to me. Well, the good thing is I've always wanted to see snow!

im off in 20-something days for three months of backpackking (think Europe, start in Paris end in London, think massive circle with Bel,Ned,Ger,Czh,Aus,Swi,Itl,Spn,Por,Ire,Eng). Dont actually wanna admit its gonna be cold, and is hard to buy winter clothes here atm (aus in spring). Hopefully Europe will have another heat wave which lasts all winter.... but doubt it will happen

Apparently Europeans keep indoors really really warm ??? True

if you want to see snow... come to canada! we just got 15 cm last night (this is the end of october) and i live in what they call "southern" ontario! we have plenty to share, trust me!!
