In a hurry, leaving on saturday (18/3)!
Hello fellow travellers!
The situation is like so, that I am currently in Steyr, Austria and am working at SKF (the world's largest bearing-manufacturer) for my school back in Sweden.
This weekend we're having a re-union in Munich and I was hoping that anyone could give me some advise in what to do or what to see in the city?
Cheers, and thanks in beforehand,
Ebbe (the world's best Swedish Ninja!)
The Olympia Stadion in Munich is very beatifull and also famous for the Olympic Games of 1972
Since you are having a school reunion (which will probably involve drunken frat boys) you might as well resolve to go to the "Hofbrauhaus" - Germany's (and maybe the world's) most famous pub.
For the interested in the arts, there are several large art galleries like the Pinakothek.
The "Deutsche Museum" (German National Museum) houses some very interesting technical artifacts.
For special interest, concert tickets, etc. check out www.muenchen.de
Thanks a lot, fellas!
We'll definitely try out the "Hofbrauhaus", and who knows, maybe we'll even go see something historical, being a full-fledged schooltrip with the teachers and all... (not very probable though...)
