I hope whoever said that her boyfriend is 29, almost 30 and thinks that a 40 year old hitting on him is upsetting realizes that 40 is not old enough to be his mother.
That's only ten years older than he is. Most people can not have babies when they're 10. Also, he'll be there too before he can blink his eyes. Get ready!!!

I am 37 too.
The guys who come my way tend to vary, from 20 to 60.
I think, if the only ones u meet, are towards the top of this range, it might be because of the places u go. Maybe u earn more money now, than when u were youger, and go to places that young men often cant afford. ;)

Just remember too women come into thier sexual peak in their 30s and men are past it by 20! So us 30 plus women are prime pickings for those youngsters!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Though lecherous women aren't nearly as numerous as their male counterparts, they nevertheless exist. I've always tried to respect my elders, but some apparently take it as an invitation to live out their aged fantasies with me. I feel your pain, Clanger. ;)

Now you are telling me, I had my peak at 18,19? I can tell that was no peak, that was a flat line ... and now 12 years later, it will all go downhill.

Ouch! I can relate to your boyfriend. This happened to me and some of my mates last Saturday night at a pub. We're all in our late 20's early 30's and this woman of about 45 just sits there on the table opposite us all night trying to see which one of us was up for a bit of fun. She tried to get into conversation with all of us giving us each a glance like "you can have me tonight if you like"

I wasn't in the least bit interested. None of my mates were either. So my mates and I started a loud conversation about picking up younger girls and she was so offended she left the pub 2 minutes later.

... I believe in Canada these women are affectionately known as Cougars... The older, sly female who preys on the young

So what about guys being into older women (as they must have so much experience)???

maybe only in the books and movies...

or is there anybody out there, who wants to share his story???

it happened to my husband (back then my boyfriend) as well... this woman trying to hit on him, wouldn't stop flirting, talking...about her 3 children... (he was 24 back then)

Amusing topic. Maybe in a few years if this post is still here I can chime in with some useful words. However I'm only 20 and I tend to look within my age range for women. Who knows though....a more mature woman might be able to entice me haha

Bloody hell, i know what you mean, i had this 73 yrs old aussie guy make a pass at me ... in turkey ...first of all, he shows up at the breakfast table in his boxer, i thought it was a bit strange, then innocent me didnt fully get it when he was saying he wanted to have a memory from me and i was a bit naive by following him to his room, i only got the picture when he locked the door and told me to kiss him ... EURRKKKK ... im sorry, im only 31, my mom is 53 so he could technically be my grandfather ... no way jose, i don't care how much money he had .... yeahh, was happy i was leaving that morning .... we already had exchanged email so few months later, he emails me saying he wants to tour Canada with me and in exchange he will pay for my services !?!?!? i responded by saying i wasnt into servicing anyone ...and he never wrote back !

At what age do you consider someone old? I'm not being sarcastic - it's an honest question. (And I'm afraid the 28 with the "+" after it does put old/older men in the running... But, I do know what you are actually saying.)

Before I was 27, I used to think that everybody over 35 was of no interest to me. When I was 27, I met a 37 year old guy, and was astonished, to realise, that I found him attractive and interesting. When I was 30, I met a guy who was 50, and found him attractive.
When I was 30, I also though there is nothing new to discover in life. I thought it will go on indefinately without anything new. Then to my surprise, during the following year, my life was turned upside, and completely rearranged. I am now a lot more openminded, about age. I no longer judge how interested I will be in people, by their age.
