Montenegro coats is very very beautiful, but there will be political problems in future months, so i would gladly tell you to skip it this year.....
Why exactly should Montenegro be skipped this year? I plan to go there next August.
I also intend to visit Novi Sad and Belgrade, but I am not sure for how long and what to visit. Can you give me some advice on this, please?
if you really are lost for ideas. there's a small language school in Uzice, western part of Serbia that organises cultural excursion, it's not like a tour, you choose the places you want to visit, they pair you up with a volunteer, so you get to see things that you wouldn't see otherwise. i did a trip with them, to Zlatibor, and it was 10 euros, included lunch in a traditional serbian restaurant, coffee, all bus tickets. and the guide spoke near perfect english and had a lot of good local knowlege.
they're also run language classes and cultural workshops, such as cooking and handicraft. and the groups are very very small, so you get a lot of personal attention.
the big plus is that they're CHEAP, it takes all the hassle away. good option if you're really lost and don't know what to do..
Uzice is a smallish town, but surrounded by a lot of well known attractions.
worth spending a few days there. it's about 3.5 hours from belgrade.
hope that helps someone..
if anyone'd like the info of the school i mentioned,-snip
