I haven't got any specific airlines I could recommend but consider stopping somewhere in Asia to break up the trip. I always find that this is the best way to break up a long flight.

Ive flown code share BA/Quantas - to Thailand in the past - it wasnt too bad the usual leg room in cattle class, food was good, movies on seat back pretty recent and complimentary drink!

Hey. I went over to oz with Singapore airways they where really good, you might find they are a bit more expensive than other airways at certain times of the year but its well worth it. I paid £753 to fly in October and the best bit ..... free alcohol all the way to oz and the in-flight meals where good to. I stopped over for the night in Singapore, its really nice there but you feel like your inside an oven. Good luck with your flight.

THANKS FOR REPLIES GUYS......LOOKS LIKE SINGAPORE AIRLINES IT IS.....UNLESS ANYONE HAS ANY BETTER IDEAS....A STOPOVER SOUNDS A GOOD IDEA ASWELL....DO YOU NEED TO BOOK YOUR OWN ACCOMODATION FOR YOUR STOPOVER BEFORE YOU GO OR IS IT EASY ENOUGH TO FIND WHEN YOU LAND..?

Ive flown Singapore too - would definately agree that they are the best carrier esp for those in economy. I would book accomodation before going as one night in Singapore would mean cramming a lot in therefore you dont want to waste time finding somewhere to stay!

ALTERNATIVELY - if you have enough time (5 hrs plus) airport wait whilst in transit SIA do free tours of Singapore which you can book to do when you get into the airport which will mean you dont have to worry about finding somewhere to stay yet still see Singapore too!! Singapore airport is pretty cool too - lots to do whilst waiting and there is even a roof top pool to chill out at as well if you cant be bothered with the city tour!

Enjoy yourself!
