AliJT has indicated that this thread is about New Zealand

Am coming to NZ at the weekend (16th April)
What is the weather like at the moment?
Am coming from the middle of England, so anyone who can make comparisons to UK mid April weather would be a real help to me!!!

getting cold now there i reckon. probably a tad cooler than it is there at the moment - but can probably predict a lot more sunshine! its tough to say coz when the suns out in NZ its pretty strong.
i travelled there at the end of the winter - august and most days was fine in a long sleeve top or light jacket - bring a fleece and jeans and you should be fine.

Yeah the weathers a hard one to predict.. it could rain the whole time or it could be nice and sunny... depends where you are. North islands a lot better weather wise at this time of the year... but south island is much more scenic... bring thermal clothes and a good rain jackt cuz it can get cold in the South island.. then again a north island version of cold is when its like 0 degrees at night time so yeah.. but it does snow down south and you dont want to get caught out!!
