Sorry to drag up an old thread. But I noticed no1 had really commented on this post, I was going to start my Trip down towards Turkey and thought that this user had a pretty gd suggestion.

Any thoughts?

The EU doesnt make many things easier (only pay rises for the fat-cats).
Buying a car abroad as a foreigner in the EU is still a pain.
To buy one in Bulgaria - you need to take a course in how to understand the paperwork and 'Why' its all necessary.

Without having any understanding of my (as it stands, vague) itinerary where would be the easiest/ cheapest place to purchase/register?

My guess would be - and its only an uncalculated guess.... The UK.
