the tower has indicated that this thread is about Italy

Hi everybody!

My name is Gloria, and I work and live in Pisa, well... most of the time.

I have an apartment right behind the leaning tower... not in a dangerous position though! ;)

Since June I will have to travel a lot for work and I would like to sublet my apartment if somebody is interested.

The apartment is nice. It is 50m2, and there is a double bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. The bathroom is new and in the kitchen there is a washing machine which can be used.

The apartment can accommodate 2 people.

It is few steps from Campo dei Miracoli, you can actually see the top of the tower and of the Baptistery from behind the city walls which are opposite the house.

You do not need to have a car, as there are many busses going to the station and you can also walk there in 20 minutes. Probably less... I am slow!

There is a supermarket right behind the corner and a pharmacy and all you might need: it's in the centre.

If you go to Pisa, I recommend you don't just see the tower: it's a nice underestimated city.

The river embankements are beautiful, and there are nice shops and pubs.
It's a lively University town.

Moreover it is close to Florence (1 hour by train), to Lucca (30'), to the beach (15') and to many nice places like Garfagnana, Livorno and the Etruscan coast, Volterra, Cinque Terre, many spa towns, Massa and Carrara.
Therefore, it is a good base for seeing this part of Tuscany.

I am preparing a couple of quick webpages to put some photos on, but if you are interested I am happy to exchange a couple of emails. You can also leave me a private message or a message here.

Thank you everybody!

The house will be available from the 25th of June, as since then... I will be there! :)

Ciao,
Gloria
