Had never heard of it, but I just read there's a such a thing! (the American guy who was arrested yesterday for bombing hotels in Bolivia had one.)
Apparently over 150 countries have accepted them "on a case by case basis"...it sounds to me like that would present yet another hassle when travelling.I like the idea though...:)
What do you think?

Daniela.

Never heard of it and I can't understand how it would work as isn't a passport supposed to show your citizenship primarily?

Cool idea though; where can you get one? :)

This is gas. A passport allows you entry into most countries, depending on where you're from. There are some countries which will not allow certain types of people in (e.g. hacks) and some countries that will not allow you in because of your nationality. But a world passport? Close the barn door on yer way out...

Damn, I was hoping this'd actually exist. Thanks for getting my hopes up

I didn't know whether posting the address was allowed, so here it goes: http://www.worldservice.org/docpass.html
If this gets cut off, just do a search in world passport and you should find the site.
The idea behind it is that you become a citizen of the world, and it shoudln't really matter where you come from...i guess that'd be great for people who need to hide their identities too...*runs to get one* LOL
<but a world passport? Close the barn door on yer way out...> LOL, can't you just let a girl dream?! :P

Today over 150 countries have visaed it on a case-by-case basis.

Hmmm, I think that is more than likely lax customs and immigration officers rather than any sort of actual acceptance. Kind of like travelling with a Conch Republic passport, probably.

Is that good, or bad?

Gas means nonsense. i.e. you're full of hot air/full of gas.

Of course it's tempted to most of the people here, I just came accross this site:

Hmm...I think it's not that reliable.

Cheers,
Nick ;)
