My friend and I are in Sydney for, at least, a few weeks and I'm just after some advice as to what we should most definately NOT miss while we're here? Alternatively, warnings as to hwat we most certainly should miss?
We want to make the most of our time here and I thought the best way to do that would be to ask the people who know - that's you!
can't miss all the semi nude girls on Bondi Beech
umm, the opera house is a must.
I was really partial to the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour. Not as nice an asian garden perhaps as the japanese tea garden in San Francisco, but still a very very nice one, which I happily wandered through for a few hours.
You have to take a ferry somewhere. Doesn't really matter where, just as long as you take one. (Manly is the obvious choice, but since I'm not a beach person, it didn't do much for me - the Taronga Zoo stop is highly recommended, if just for the nice view of the sydney skyline from there.)
Also, have dinner one day somewhere on Glebe Point Road, or better yet, visit the saturday (? I think - might be sunday instead) market.
