On the 27th april I purchased two tickets ( for the lion king, 26th may, 2 front seats) on the website of global tickets which is london westend box office, paying 267€ !!! online by visa.
This price included the post by overseas of the tickets.
I find the payment of this amount to “ticketbande.de Netherlands” on my monthly bank statement .
The 27th april I received an email of the booking confirmation and a tracking order.
So far so good, I waited for the tickets which never arrived.
The week before leaving for London and still not having received any tickets, I sent them an email via their website, asking for explanations and saying that I hoped the tickets would be at the cash desk of the lyceum theatre at the 26th may. I never received any answer.
Still trustful I left for London with my daughter and went to the cash desk , but neither in the morning nor in the evening there were tickets at my name at the cash desk. The box-office assistant phoned till the last minute before the show to track my tickets,with no result, telling me she didn’t know a “westend box office”, never worked with them!!! I was furious, disappointed, but I had NO TICKETS FOR THE LION KING AND MY CREDITCARD HAD BEEN CHARGED 267€!!!
Now when I came back from London, I had an email telling me that Icancelled my booking and that my creditcard had not been charged!!! Fact is that I never cancelled my booking!!!
In the absence of any further explanations and the refund of the paid sum, I am very much willing to have recourse to legal proceedings against this company for dishonesty and fraud.
