roarke80 has indicated that this thread is about Thailand

I'm heading to Krabi next week and would love to island hop around, any pristine and uncluttered beaches you guys can recommend around that area would be perfect. Thanks!

I travelled to Ko Lanta in 2000 and it was practically deserted, it did not even have a paved road. It was great, you could walk on the beach forever and see just a couple of bungalow operations. My friends went in 2003 and it was fast changing. Ko Lanta now has a paved road and development is moving from beach to beach on the island, although there are still some beaches that are not as cluttered as others on Lanta. That is the story for most of the island's in Thailand. The key is to find the next island from the one that is just being developed and you will find a more isolated beach. However, you will also be contributing to the development of that isolated island. Last I heard Ko Lupe was pretty uncluttered also. Good Luck.
