Hej Jasper

your trip sounds cool!! Where abouts are you from in Holland? I spent last year living there as an exchange student in Roosendaal (south west... in between Breda and Bergan op Zoom)...

kusjes :)

Hi Jasper (and IngridJone),

Welcome to travellerspoint from another who spends allot of time in and used to live in the Netherlands (Delft amongst others). I'm also a big Eastern Europe fan and planning to spend some time wandering around Yugoslavia (plus Cro/Slo) this summer.

IngridJone - Roosendaal - I know it quite well, although seem to spend more time sitting on the station waiting for late connections at strange hours of the night than actually in the town!

Hello Jasper - welcome from another who spends alot of time on this site - and thanx for cheering me up on an otherwise boring day. I am afraid I don't know eastern europe atall but wanted to say hello I have only been to France and Holland in Europe. Only once to Holland though when I was around 10 years It is not enough, I will have to re-visit at some point now that I am alot older and make the most of it. Maybe get to experience the nightlife also.

Anyway chau 4 now

Actually I should have mentioned Turkey, Greece mainland and Kos too I have been there also. I can say that Greece is fairly cheap - some nice scenery there, really nice beaches. Also nice food and beer. The local drink 'Ouzo' is pretty strong and is an acquired taste but I happen to love it. Also locals in Greece are really nice too As for Yugoslavia etc. though - I don't know.
