I read a story in the paper just yesterday about the dangers of Alcohol and how bad it is for you, scared the sh#t out off me.
Made me decide no more...i'm never reading again

That was a good one!
Honestly...every time you turn around the news/tv/mom is telling you that something else is bad for you! I mean everything causes death....if you look at it that way. Or the way they skew the information.
Everyone who takes a breath will eventually die...SO breathing must cause death!!! Drives me crazy.......

Exactly!! In some way or another, everything is bad for us...it's fattening, it causes cancer, it makes us babble incoherently and tell the most random people that we love them :)

Being on a cruise ship for so long, it's a very "work hard and party harder" environment. Thinking back on some nights, and the amount of alcohol consumed, I can only just shake my head. But then I think, that the mornings after we would get up and go ashore and enjoy a day on the beach with plenty of cocktails, makes me shake my head even harder. Wow, what a life it was. I apologize on a daily basis to my liver.

They have a group meeting almost daily on the ships for passengers, "Friends of Bill W." but maybe they should have considered something similar for the crew
