netta has indicated that this thread is about Italy

Any tips for my trip to Rome in May :
1) I would like to do some nice inexpensive shoping
2) I would like to find nice disco/bar, reggae or latino music.
Thanks!!!

I can suggest you areas of the city where usually people go shopping, BUT NOT NECESSARY UNEXPENSIVE..

Near Vatican: Giulio cEsare str, risorgimento square and and Cola di Rienzo str. You can find here almost everything from open (chinese) markets, to little cheap shop (but the quality it's not the best) to shop's chains like zara, yamanay and so on .

Rome north: from annibaliano sq, the quarter called "african quarter " because of the name of the streets, all referring to Africa.

then the open market close to S. Giovanni in Laterano

Tuscolana str. (which basically proceed from S. giovanni to south)

to finish with the famous sunday open market of Porta Portese, porta portese square).Beware of pickpockets there. you can find almost everything, including second hand (and things recicled from robberies...)
there are also some outlets outside rome,(i've never been, neither I consider that so cheap, to be honest)

Obviously there are the street in the center, like via condotti...just for very rich ones...:)
