HI
I'm planning to go travelling around the world in September and was going to stop in either Oz or NZ for a few months to work. I was wondering if anyone could tell me which place they think would be better??? Work wise i am happy to work in the hospitality industry or temping in offices as i have experience in both. Having said that i am open to new jobs too!

I love adventure and meeting people. I am also quite sporty but both countries cater for that. I would love to meet lots of people from all over the world and just have a great time... any advice??

Thanks ;)

I'd say it's all what your after, the money is gunna be best for you in Sydney or Melbourne but the cost of living more....same as all over the world.
www.seek.com has good jobs in Aus.

Workwise, I have only worked in Aus, but if you do decided to get a working visa, dont bother with seek.com, when you arrive get your cv sent out to as many temp agancies as poss, thats the best way to do it. Sure you wont have a problem if your not too fussy.

yeah i'm not too fussy. just want to earn enough to live and still be able to do a few things while i'm there. Working just to stay still isnt great but i dont expect to make my millions!!!

So thats two comments about Oz... anyone going to vote for NZ???? :)

Hi Roni,
I am planning on heading to nz myself in Aug/Sept after travelling a bit and after speaking to a few people, it seems like there is plenty of work in Auckland especially, things like temp office work.

Give NZ a go....im origianlly from auckland and there is loads of options work wise(especially in hospitality) and adventure too. Try the local paper for work, and then check out afew books for abit of fun. BUG new zealnd and Lonely Planet has loads of information about tramping activities etc.....
Hope that helps you out....enjoy :)
