Yes - In college. The guy was very cute but very shy and everyone else considered him to be a real loser. He also stuttered so his roommates also made fun of him constantly. They were the "cool" guys (aka - ex-high school jocks with good looks and zero brains) which made him feel even worse. (And, the 1st quarter, you weren't allowed to change dorm rooms.) I asked him out because he was way too shy to get up the courage himself. We went out about 6 times and then he had a family thing that forced him to quit school for awhile. He was really fun and when he wasn't nervous, his stutter would disappear. I'm glad I got to know him.

Pass the question...

I haven't but I may have stayed with someone a bit longer cos I felt bad for them. I don't think anyone else has done this- Isa you're too kind! Are colleges in the States really that bad? It sounds like a teen movie- I would hate those popular Jock/cheerleader types so much. B*st*rds.

What is the worst thing you've ever done at work- i.e most sackable offense??

They can be - it was a small school. The larger the institution, the more diversity there is, and it was almost 35 years ago. I also knew what it was like to be in his postion while I was in high school (without the stutter).

worst (sackable) thing...

There are so many, but I guess I'll say smoking joints with colleagues in the storage closet in the lab building. Again, a looooooooong time ago.

Oops! pass the question...

Running up a huge phone bill to my boyfriends mobile. Oh, and spending literally all day on TP when personal use of internet is forbidden....

When working in a kitchen, my boss was an asshole so, we rang up a porn line on his office phone. Left it off the hook, it took him ages before he made a call.
he ended getting a bill for $300 for the call.

Pass on ...

In my old job l made a hair appointment and spent the day in hair dressers (my friend is my hairdresser so we were gossiping all day) instead of working!!!

If you were not getting any support at work and generally feeling down trodden would you take a week off on the sick even though you knew that your department would suffer having to cover for you and that they were pissed off too?

(BAD BAD BAD day at work lm still feeling tearful about it (BUT by GOD l wont let the bastards make me cry!))

I do feel that way, that's how I end up on TP all day. And I haven't phoned in sick yet . . .

Did you ever steal money off your parents as a kid?
