Always look on the bright side of life!!!! Followed by 'Sit on my face'

Who would you like to have a speech at your funeral?

1282. Posted by Jase007 (Travel Guru 8870 posts) 10y

Billy Connoly and Peter Kay

Would you leave enough for a party or spend the money on a coffin?

1283. Posted by Purdy (Travel Guru 3546 posts) 10y

Quoting Jase007

Purdy - you could apply those lessons to women also, I have only met a couple who can do the basics and they were dodgy on that too !!!

Jase you have been hanging out with the wrong type of woman - you need to come around my house ;););) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a bloody good party - the coffine is gonna rot throw me in a card board box and let me decompose!

have the party before i go so that i can enjoy it and as i'd be dead and not care the coffin would be cheap as it'll be burned anyway....

explain why english should be taught in school and not one of the more widely spoken languages like spanish or chinese ?

Leave money? Unlikely. I'd have the budget funeral and be cremated in a cardbox box and if there's anything left I hope it'd stretch to a glass of pop and some Pringles for whoever attended.

How would like your funeral to be?

1286. Posted by tway (Travel Guru 7273 posts) 10y

Spanish and Chinese may be spoken by more people, but English is spoken in a lot more places. You can learn Chinese but you'd essentially have to live in China to use it. Still, there's no price tag on what you leran when you learn a new language. It's not just learning other words that mean the same as English words - it's learning whole new concepts and ideas.

Oh - that sounds like a rant. Whoops!

And I'd like my funeral to be full of stories that make people laugh. Like how I fell doen the stairs at a blind date or ordered penis instead of pene.

If your funeral could be held anywhere, where would it be?

1287. Posted by Jase007 (Travel Guru 8870 posts) 10y

Purdy - sounds good to me ;)

Rraven - because english is a mix of all languages and is the most adaptable of all the languages. It is also the language most businesses run on english (shipping, flying).

Clarabell - I'm donating my body to the medical school so there won't be one (giving something back)but it would be a blaze of drink, music and fun

Question - if you could sponsor me to do a 3500km off-road bike ride for charity (supplying medical transports in africa), how much would you donate?

at least 100 bucks.
If you only had one piece of chocolate cake...would you share it with me?

1289. Posted by Jase007 (Travel Guru 8870 posts) 10y

I would give it to you.

If there was a place to see the sun set, where would it be?

1290. Posted by Cupcake (Travel Guru 8468 posts) 10y

Arizona!
(Jase is my new best friend...he WILL share chocolate!!!)
If you had to give someone bad news....would you just spell it out, or would you ease into it, or skirt the issue?
