What about the weekend after? June 17th/18th/19th ish?

Okie Dokie. It's added to my calendar as well. Where are we going ?

No matter where you decide to go - don't forget to ply Greg with lots of liquor and have a camera at the ready. We want to see him at his best (bad) behavior.

I am always on my baddest behavior. You should have seen me this weekend in DC. I ripped it up with the Bush twins.

So, Saturday June 17th in Toronto, then. Shall we say the Bier Markt on the Esplanade? Should be nice weather, and there is a nice patio there, or if it's too busy we can go to Scotland Yard or Fionn MacCools that also have nice patios.

Well, this weekend there was a small TP Meetup in Toronto. Q-Tip and I had drinks at the Bier Markt on a beautiful patio, and then headed next door to a similarly beautiful patio at Scotland Yard for dinner. Cruisegirl has gone AWOL, and thus never joined us.

The weather was beautiful, it's a shame that there is SOOO many good sports on TV now, beceause I feel bad about spending all my time indoors watching NHL playoffs, world cup and the US Open (where my boy Phil fall apart this weekend - but that's another story). There was even a Canadian football game this weekend in Toronto - the home openner for the Toronto Argonauts and newly acquired running back Ricky Williams - who (tying this back to travel) gave up millions of dollars and spent a year bumming around Australia and smoking dope. He's a backpacker hero!

So Q and I had a decent conversation about travel and photography and work and life in general. I realized that I am slowly meeting everyone who was at the Montreal meetup last year in small groups - I've had drinks with Tway, Sam and Peter and now Q-Tip.

So, feel sorry that you all missed out. ;) And if you were in Montreal last summer, you better watch out, 'cause I'm coming to visit.

Hey Greg - any meet-up is a good meet-up! (Anyone who had a bad experience is keeping quiet about it so far...) By decent, do you mean you actually spoke words or just made guy sounds all night long? Remember, I've met Q and he's a bit on the quiet side. Are you two going out camping manly style?

Does this mean I should clear out the guest room and Beerman needs to start stockpiling? Just curious... Like to be prepared... Bring Q - we'll teach him how to cook. ;)

PS: Never trust the one who starts the meet-up ball rolling... (Like coughKatiecough.) They mysteriously disappear just before a flocking.
