I second the motion for Aussie notes. They seem like they were designed by some smart surfer, who may or may not have been on acid at the time.

The only defense I have for the American money is that I HATE change. I can never get over being in a country, carrying around a load of change in my pocket and having it be worth like $20 bucks. In the States, change is what you throw in your car ashtray and use to buy gas when you realize your bank account is not looking so good at the end of the month.

Plus every note is the same colour.

Hey, we just added pink to some of our money!!!

When did that happen?
So what colour notes are pink?

Sometime last year - but it's not an obvious (bright) pink, it's more of a shading thing on the 10s and 20s. They still look pretty drab and boring.

Or, throw it in a dish on the dresser until you have enough for a night out playing the nickel slot machines. Twenty bucks can last for hours and the bank account has suffered.

Try finding a local bank that still has a coin-counting machine!!! Now they just hand you the paper sleeves and make you fill them.

I like the different colours of the Icelandic notes. 500 is red, 1000 is purple and 5000 is blue. Look!
We also have a 2000 krona note, but there are really few of them around.. it's pink and blue and green and strange looking...

It must of been late last year then because i never noticed it.
Plus in Hawaii in december all the notes were still dirty green.

Northern Irelands GBPs were pretty cool. The one's with the see through plastic circle on them. Unfortunately no longer in circulation.

I love the Australian notes- they're nice and colourful too as well as waterproof!

Although the coins confused me- How big do they need to be?

I still have the smallest note in Laos Kip. It's my favoutite. It is worth about 5 pence, and it is really beautiful!

Some of the scottish notes are great.
The New Zealand ones used to be really good before they changed them to the dull ones they have now - washing machine proof though :)
