I have only been travelling to a few countries but I have always made an effort to try and get to know some locals.
I was just wandering where you think the friendliest people are from, and well, for that matter, where the unfriendliest people are from!!??

(from my mom and dad ;) )
It is as varied as the different countries!
I have met the most awesome people from a bazillion different countries....and I have met some of the biggest asses in my own backyard :(....I think you will find both everywhere you go, but if you put your biggest smile forward, you will find the same in return.

Depends who's taking what drugs.....You can't generalize about countries. You get good and bad in each one. My favorite people as a whole cause I like the way they think are the French - but that's cause I spend a lot of time there and have a lot of French friends (plus any country that hates Bush is already in my top 10 - and who hates Bush more than the French - or see's what a true idiot he is and did from day one) VIVE LA FRANCE !!! Making a generalisation of this kind could be
prejudicial to our minds. Let us have an open
and free mind. You can make friends anywhere and everywhere.

If someone is acting funny let us look at ourselves first.
There could be a flaw within. This is my attitude.

Most drunk people are friendly, so I think the Irish are quite nice

"so I think the Irish are quite nice" Surely you have never seen many Irish traveling! woah the amount of fights caused by drunk Irish boggles my head.

"Making a generalisation of this kind could be
prejudicial to our minds." Arggggghhh!! leave the hippy dippy stuff outta here. Generalisations are great and usually have alot of truth to them.

Agree with Zoom on the French, very friendly people, but my first choice is the Germans, lovley bunch, great sense of humor and fun people.
