Lorazepam???? Isn't that Prozac???

No, lorazepam is Ativan.
Anti-anxiety and sometimes anti-convulsant.

Hi Vlakvark,

I think the others have made some pretty good suggestions. The easiest would be to sleep it off. As for the nicotine patches and inhaler (plastic cigarette, first time I've heard of it called this actually lol), they'll help to ward off the cravings and withdrawal symptoms but may have some stimulant effects.

Get the inhaler if you have itchy hands and need the hand-to-mouth action of smoking. Otherwise the patches will do. I'm not sure about NL but here we have 16-hour and 24-hour patches, depending on how long u want the effect to be. There's nicotine gum also. One insider's tip: I don't know how strict things are on your side but here some pharmacists refuse to sell them if they know you're not buying them to quit smoking so you may have to lie and listen to them talk you through the entire smoking cessation works.

Oh, and I wouldn't recommend taking any antidepressants or sleeping pills with alcohol..Who knows if you'll wake up or not..

Hey, I feel your pain. I used to do a lot of smoking and a lot of flying both. A rough combination to say the least.

Dip helps. I've done that a few times. But this one can easily annoy fellow passengers. The nice thing about the dip is it gives you a powerful hit of the nicotine like smokes and it gets your mouth involved (unlike the patch) to take care of that oral fixation if you've got that as well.

Recently I've been getting into the gum though and I swear by it. If you get involved with this stuff don't go for generic. Get yourself some mint nicorette.

oh that's for sure! nicotine gum without the mint tastes like crap, and it doesn't have the texture of normal gum too.

never heard of dip too.
