As usual I had a really exciting day at work, spent most of the day thinking about food as I had forgotten to take my lunch. Then I wondered, if I was on Death Row and had to pick my final meal, what would it be?

The choice was quite easy...... Pie, peas and chips!

What do the rest of you think? (maybe you can give me some inspiration to vary my diet!

Good choice Kelly and no stuff the variation and stick to the pie, chips and peas.

I would go for some nice juicy sausages in Toad in the Hole with mash potatoes, mushy peas and gravy and a side order of chips

...some nice juicy sausages in Toad in the Hole...

Toad in the Hole??? Is that anything like our "pigs in a blanket"? (Sausages rolled up in pancakes, served for breakfast - or sausages/hot dogs rolled up in dinner roll dough, then baked and served for lunch/dinner/supper.)

Mine would be fried kunedle (potato dumplings) and baked side pork (uncured bacon). The rendered grease from the meat is ladled over the dumplings. Yum!!! (So it's a heart attack waiting to happen - it's death row... More grease, please!)

I'd want a 7-couse meal! Start with a nice soup, a fancy salad, some olive-oil bread with whipped butter, one of those sorbet things they serve before the main meal, something with seafood (lobster and crab a la king!) and some steamed veggies and jasmine rice, chocolate-pepper cake (I had one once and it was mesmerising!), excellent coffee, and a plate of really expensive chocolates. Plus wine to suit every course and a digestif - Frangellio, say.

Although - I can't eat when I'm nervous, so it may all go to waste.

Coming from someone who'd choose to ingest a calorie-packed concoction called Toad in the Hole, I take that as a compliment!

mmmm...Tina's meal sounds great...but..........I would opt for just the chocolate tray and a HUGE bag of candy corn...and since I am on my way out....I want booze...and maybe some oxycodone!!!!!
