So I am putting together my photos from all my travels and want to include some quotes in it. Just trying to find some that I don't already have that remind me of traveling. Does anyone have any that anytime they read it reminds them of their travels? Such as the obvious one, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. thanks

I bought a 'Traveller's Journal' in Sydney that came with a whole bunch of quotes ... some of my favourites being:

"One's destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things." - Henry Miller

"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." - T.S. Elliot

"The voyage of discovery lies not in finding new landscapes, but in having new eyes." - Marcel Proust

"If you wish to travel far and fast, travel light. Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness and fears." - Glenn Clark

"A good traveller has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving." - Lao-Tzu

"Not I, not anyone else, can travel that road for you -- you must travel it for yourself." - Walt Whitman

"Travel not only stirs the blood ... It also gives strength to the spirit." - Florence Prag Khan

"If you actually look like your passport photo, you aren't well enough to travel." - Sir Vivian Fuchs

"The most important trip you may take in life is meeting people halfway." - Henry Boye

"When you come to a fork in the road, take it." - Yogi Berra

"Adventure is worthwhile." - Amelia Earhart

Hopefully you liked at least a couple of those :D

You crack me up.

Buy you a beer when in Sydney?

Sounds like a great idea.

Just have to warn you; I get very obnoxious and sarcastic when I'm drunk . Oh, and no trying to convert me to any Dutch Reformist nonsense. I'm sticking to Scientology thanks very much.

Gotta admit, I'm still suffering from the traumatic memories of aliens, called Thetans, who were murdered on Earth millions of years ago by the evil overlord Xenu, who trapped them in a volcano and then blew them up with nuclear weapons. So I could do with a few beers

Hey, sorry to interrupt your chat, Vlakvark and James, but I've got to contribute my favourite travel quote of all time:

"Seek knowledge even unto China." Hadith, sacred saying by the Prophet Muhammad.

Looks very cool written on a t-shirt in chinese and arabic.

Wow, that's an amazing quote. I think it's going to change my life .

Unlike you, I can't read Chinese or Arabic. Do the T shirts come in Australian?
