Unfortunately i probably wont be doing a blog this time.
Last time i bought a laptop in Canada and could update my blog whenever i wanted and uploading photos was easy but its staying in its case at home this time.
Its just too much hassle and extra weight if i took it.
Plus last time the people i travelled with always stayed in a private room so i could leave it locked away or we had the car to lock it in too.

This time im packing pretty much as i would if i was hiking/camping except for a few bits and pieces.
Or in other words im roughing it.
May even grow a big beard too HAHA!!!

Hello

You really do not need to buy sunscreen before you go .. toiletries are much cheaper in aus than the UK. My brother and sister both live in London and i live nearer sydney and i am travelling over there soon and they have asked me to bring them over toiletries becasue it is way cheaper in aus!!!!

have fun!!

now, at last, i know that others have problems with packing too. it sounds unbelievable but for all my friends its no problem.

do you know that: you always think about what to take and then, finally, you pack 1 day before you're trip? (and not what you wanted to take)

for one month you can pack the same as for two weeks. i do that like this, you can always wash you're stuff.

at the moment i'm gone for more than 3 months. i didn't take enough clothes with me (but i didn't want my 'valise' being too heavy...) when i'm back home i have to buy a new wardrobe, it will all be torn!

My packing strategy for wherever I go is sort everything I want to take into three piles; yes, no and maybe. I then get rid of the no pile. Then I sort the maybe pile into the yes, no and maybe piles again. Then I get rid of the No and Maybe piles and pack everything that's left. I think that if I've looked at it twice and haven't decided I need it, I don't need it and if I absolutely need it I'll pick it up on my travels.
