Anyone arrived and flown out of Miami International Airport.
I arrive from Cancun and then fly to San Jose,Costa Rica and delays permitting i have 2 hours 51 minutes between flights. Both American Airlines flights.
I understand theres only 1 terminal but theres 7 concourses but i dont know which concourse i land at and which one i take off at.
Ive also found on One World website it takes on average 30 minutes walking between concourses after clearing immigration and customs.
Will i have time getting my connecting flight and is it easy to get around the airport and find you way between arrivals and departures?
Yes, flown in and out of Miami many times. To be very truthful, it's not my favourite airport, but I don't think you will have much trouble finding your gate (I never did). When you are getting ready for landing at MIA, the pilot usually makes an announcement regarding connecting flights, and which concourse to proceed too. Then of course the screens in the gate areas list it as well.
2 hours 51 minutes is plenty of time. Last trip, I had 15 minutes due to weather But I made it...YAY!!!
yes! sure I just did too many connections in and out at the same mia airport and there were many people asking for their right gate to go, but every ten steps you find an aa desk where you can double check for the right way to go, dont worry, my suggestion is going there, checking and then once you get rid of your big bags, you can have a nice coffee or buy some last minute souvenirs.
