If possible, could you come up with more specific questions?
There are loads of friendly-helpful folks here who would be glad to help you out.
I'm assuming by the countries are you are going to that surfing is the point of your trip. So I guess leaving the surfboards at home is out of the question? I couldn't imagine anything worse than travelling with a surfboard... but two? If you are just getting off the plane and heading straight to the beach than it may not be a problem, though I think you'll have to rely on alot of expensive taxis because riding the bus, especially in places like Indonesia and the Phillipines would be a nightmare with two surfboards and a backpack.
As for the tent, I think it's probably not nessesary. However, you didn't say what kind of travelling you'll be doing, so if camping is a priority, then maybe a tent is ok. But in most places you will no doubt be staying in hostels or cheap hotels. If you are self-driving in Australia and so plan to camp on the beach or something, then you can always buy a cheap $30 tent from K-mart once you get there.
