Me and some friends are going to the ExitFest in Serbia this summer. We'll be taking a couple of weeks over there and plan to visit Budapest (we fly into there), Novi Sad and Belgrade. We are toying with the idea of flying home from Bratislava. Is it a real mission from Budapest to Bratislava? When we get there is there much to do? Is it a safe city/nice place?
cheers in advance!
Hi, I've never been to Bratislava myself but I know that it isn't very difficult to get from Budapest to Bratislava. You can get a direct train there which takes just over 2 hours, I don't know how much it costs but it won't be that much. For what it's worth I know a couple of people who have been to Bratislava and they said they enjoyed it. Hope that helps,
Hi, try www.bahn.de for train connections from Budapest to Bratislava. The train is going often during a day.
Bratislava is a nice, safe and "calm" city, suitable for tourists espacially in summer so you'll be here at the right time. But to be honest, you don't need more than 1 or 2 days here because it is not a big city.
It is a good idea to finish your trip here, I recommend you to visit Bratislava when you'll be near from it.
