Actually no, I think we had some nice(ish) coffee in Tucson.
Gee, and I don't even remember making it for you!
Really, the best way is to buy the whole beans, grind it and make it yourself!
As for coffee shops, the best place I have ever found was a place called Portobello Road in Green Bay, Wisconsin. GREAT coffee...but the roaster was on site....it smelled so good, I wanted to hang out all day!
They closed up almost 2 years ago....but there is a Starbucks right across the street from where they were. (BLECH!!! :P )
I just like the familiarity of it being nearly everywhere I go! And thats what got me started collecting.
Theres Starbucks in Belfast (they breed like rabbits l must say nothing until 2 years ago and now they are springing up all over the place!) they dont have city mugs but rather country ones ie Ireland on them and coloured green funnily enough!!
Personally we go cafe clements (they have loyalty cards too!) although l like to have a latte and probably really coffee gurus would spurn me!!!
Ah, yes, I have all of the country ones from the UK. I have Northern Ireland as well!
It seems that there is always a local chain that beats out Starbucks. I wonder how it survives?
