is a story, your writing one page, one day, one word at a time. what will you fill your pages with? it seems like everything is so crazy and overpractical in the now, sometimes.. but just remember. your are your own story, something you've created all your own. i know my book would probably be something like a diary of a madman but on the same note, it would be something beautiful, something adventuresque even. its funny, sometimes your predisposition or expectation can make everything what it is. what makes a story adventurous and your life seem practical? well, i guess its all what you are making of it, what you expect it to be. and if your story isn't exciting enough for you, than you can damn well make it exciting, just by making change. a book can't do that. don't get me wrong, im am in love with reading books, and in the process of writing one.. but its easy to forget the simple things. your story, right now, yknow? im in the calm before the next storm in my story, though it certianly feels stormy enough lately anyway bwahahahaahah.

i hope you know your story is beyond what a book would ever be. Take Care loves,
Evan

Certainly insperational, and a good way to look inward. I don't know if I would read my book or not! Haha

Quoting SeeTheSky

i know my book would probably be something like a diary of a madman

That's what you call an "understatement"

I think mine would be a comic book rather than a novel

I would like mine to be an escapist novel full of pretty women, flash cars, and fancy locations.

In reality it would be an accounting text book

I'm afraid my book would be kind of boring :( But i guess it's like you said, it's up to me to change that fact! The easter-chapter might be a bit interesting though since I had a little bit too much to drink. It would be interesting for me anyway so I can find out what happened..

True Evan.
That's what I always thought.Looking around people coming to the point when they were not even the author of their life, without thinking of being the hero...
I think it can effectively be good to have this kind of outside view on our lives to finally consider it with more attention.I mean,it's so easy to forget that we are living,by jumpimg from task to task,or whatever takes our mind apart from our existence. But if we,as you said, think of it as a book, then we have a different jugement on it,cause most of time,an everyday life would be a terribly boring book, that we would not even accept to read.
And here we come: we would not accept it from a book, but we LIVE it without question. So,do we give more importance to people stories than to ours?Or are we waiting for the story to hapen without any action of ours?

Don't wait for the adventure, run for it.You can make your dreams become life, and make your life a dream. This story will happen only once, does it really matter if it will be safe?I mean with a stable job and a stable situation? What kind of stability can we expect from a life that will be over in less than a hundred years?I'm not saying that it's losing time to have a "stable" life.I'm saying that it's an illusion, that we can chose to follow,or not.I mean,if we want that, that's fine, but if we are afraid of losing it,then we are afraid of losing something that does not exist.
And,all in all,if we would know for sure that we risk nothing, would we live the way we do?
I say, don't be afraid.I say,do it if you want to.Will you never run because you may fall?

Sometimes you can't help that the events in your story might seem boring. But a good writer looks at the all little details that you don't always notice, like the tree bursting into colour outside your office window. But most of all, inject a bit of humour into your life story. Because there is humour to be found in the most mundane everyday things.

That's enough I'm going soft in the head...

odysseas- i agree, you gotta get up and make shit happen. if you want life to be one way or the other, dun jus say it can't happen or you won't do it, friggin get up an try! worst you can do is fail and feel awesome about having tried.
clara, i know what you mean. i can just stare a tree or the sky for hours and be so unbelievably happy, so captivated by the beauty surrounding me in everything.
