My kiwi friend knows some people that have done this and apparently its the worst job ever. dont want to put you off though

My issue would be the spiders and bugs and things that might live in amongst the trees or underground or wherever the fruit may hide!!!!

I think i can cope with the bugs etc. Thats why i'm thinking packing in a factory rather than picking the darn things!

I have kind of secured a place-well not exactly secured...i had an email back today saying that there will be work and to call this woman when i'm ready to come down!

Anyone know anything about Mildura, Vic,-that's where i'll be heading!!???????????

Well-its what ive got to do to stay another year-3months to gain another year isnt bad. I bet i'll hate it!

Oh yeh and thanks to james and purdy i am now very clued up on harvest work-thanks guys! lol! anyone would think that you two have wokred harvesting your whole lives!

I've picked and packed fruit heaps of times - mostly at Woolworths and Tesco

Oh yeah, it is hard yakka at times
