I know I started a similar thread last fall, but I'm just so excited that spring has finally reached Sweden! It's still pretty cold but the days are much longer, it's still daylight at half past eight at night and it's a scent in the air of rain and freshness, the trees will soon be covered in green leaves and flowers and I'm not even annoyed at the birds screeming at the crack of dawn! So, my question is, what's the weather like where you're at?

Spring in Poland,Kedzierzyn-Kozle(my city).
Winter was very hard and long, but from 3 weecks we have got real spring, but only 3-4 days sun was shinning and the weather was nice. Most off days are cloudy and is raining. But I love to watch how beautiful is when the firs springflowers are blooming, for example:snowdrops, crocuses, springanemones, violas, hyacinths, etc.(I have got very big garden,so I can mention a lot of names). And I like very much that I can make a biketrips and slowly everythings changes in green....:)

It's HOT! April and May are the hottest months of the year in Myanmar, the cooler weather will start mid to late April when the monsoon rains return for about 4 months. It is beautiful here if you can get over the heat, everything is blooming and its a riot of color.

I thought spring would never start here in the UK. Its been the longest winter in years. March was colder than December, Jan or Feb. Only last weekend it was still snowing and thats just not normal for April! Strange weather we've been having...

But finally it feels like spring, and the tree outside my window is going to burst into leaf any day now!

:):):)

I just love it when you can go out without a coat at last!

Except for the words in bold, you have described our weather perfectly!!! We're in northern Illinois (US) and we've been having unseasonably warm temps for April. We've been able to have the windows open around the clock, which is wonderful - even with the lone robin singing at 4:00am!!

The down side - the midwest has been experiencing earlier-than-normal major thunderstorms and an increased number of tornadoes. Friday night one struck Iowa City, Iowa, where all my nieces and their families live, and yesterday, another one hit a suburb of Chicago. We were in the city for Easter Sunday. We drove through rain for the complete 120 mile trip home. This morning, it's cool (35F/2C) but the sun is shining brightly!

hehehe ;) I used to live about 7/8 hours NORTH of Isa...now I am in the warm southwest! In the past month it has been around 70 to 95 F (21 to 35 C) Then again...we don't actually have winter here! :)
I can rub this in, because I just moved here last July and suffered with MUCH snow and cold for most of my life!

well we skipped both winter and spring this year in Texas. It was 97 degrees farenheit (bout 25C) today already. Caused rolling blackouts across the whole state cause the power grids could not handel all the airconditioning being used throughout the state.

Its been awful here - l thought spring was on its way on Friday but it packed up and disappeared on Saturday again! The daffodils are only just blooming here and usually by April they are gone, the trees are all naked still too! There is a stretch in the evenings but its still really cold. The sun did shine yesterday but it was still so cold and SO SO wet! So any of you out there basking in hot weather IM JEALOUS!!
