Hi, im going to europe for a month starting off in germany finishing up in croatia. I plan on camping as much as possible. At the moment i think im gonna get an interrail pass but im worried that i will just end up in the larger cities most of the time. If anyone has any thoughts, recomendations or advice to offer it would be much appreciated, there is only so much research you can do and to speak to some real humans about it would be great.
From what I heard indiviual train tickets can work out to be cheaper in Eastern Europe than Interrail. Especially if you want to stay in the country side and camp there and won't travel to another city every day. You would also need to do Germany and Austria in one go (you got 16 days for both countries with single Interrail zone C) or be limited to a total travel time of 22 days for everything. So a better option for you could be EuroDomino instead of Interrail, especially for Austria and Germany.
BTW, there is no need for an Interrail pass in Germany if you follow my suggestions in my other post to you. You would only need to book your tickets a few weeks ahead (or get a EuroDomino pass).
Thanks so much for your help i will look into it right away.
