Hello there folks

I have yet to book my trip, but I'm travelling on my own for a mega party & am heading to Oz and Thailand in May/June for a year. My problem is which order to do them in Oz/Thailand or Thailand/Oz???

....Factors like finding work, the weather etc all to be considered....

What do people think??

Oz then Thailand.....

Use your time in Oz to meet new people, really enjoy your new travelling lifestyle, and work, then by the time it gets to coming home you've still got a lovely time in Thailand to look forward to (where you'll no doubt end up meeting up with loads of people that you met in Oz to make it even better.).
I found that the places I went to before I got to Oz were a little bit wasted because I was always anticipating getting to Oz. Where as if i'd done Thailand on the way back I would have just relaxed and enjoyed it more.

Hi I'm heading to Oz in June, thought about doing Thailand on the way but would rather go there with someone than by myself so thinking of doing it on the way back. Drop me a note if you fancy meeting up in Oz. Rach

I did Thailand then Australia which was definately the wrong way round. Do Oz then Thailnad. Thailand is so cheap its best to do it on the way home so you can just blow the rest of your money and not worry about leaving enough money to get around the relatively expensive land down under!

Anyway have a great time :) Kim x
