Finally a topic that I can REALLY relate too :)

Firstly, i think you will really stuggle to find Fosters being served in Oz. I don't know anyone that drinks it in Oz!

Victorian beers (Melbourne) we generally serve Carlton (such as Carlton Draught, VB, Carlton Cold , Melbourne Bitter). Try some micro brewery stuff such as Mountain Goat or Beez Neez.

Tasmanian beers such as Boags, Cascade. Really good beers, good water doesn't give such a bad headache the next day.

South Australian beers such as Coopers, brewed in the bottle. I like the extra stout (6%) yellow label stuff.

WA beers - Red back

NSW beers (sydney) Tooheys. A lot of bars serve VB as well.

Someone help with these - James Squire - Victorian or Tassie?

Also very partial to Steinlager, even though this is a NZ beer!

I love Tooheys Extra Dry myself.
