Quoting miromar

Hahaha... yes, that must be me!! I have to say, if you really are that quiet you have just become my favourite passenger ever!

I work for a charter airline, part of a holiday company (First Choice Airways, by the way), which means that unfortunately not many of my flights are quiet (especially this time of the year, when the passenger average date of birth was during the late nineties!)

But dont worry, no need for a sign. If you ever fly with me i'll recognise you!! You'll be the one seating next to the guy that finished the beer from the trolley!!

Honestly, you would love us as passengers. No fuss, no muss. We just sit there and read, play quiet games and glare at the obnoxious guy across the aisle. We don't even complain about the kid kicking the back of the seat for 5 hours!

Cool! If we ever use First Choice, we will be sure to ask for you! And, the guy who you may think will finish the beer on the trolley will actually be the one who finishes off the rum or vodka! Beer is what he does for a living - the other two are his preferred after work cocktails.

Is this a private thread or something?

Are certain members now barred from posting in here?

Quoting Sam I Am

Guys/Gals, let's try and keep this thread on topic... (yes, even though it's in the Off Topic forum!) it's been one of the better ones for getting to know other members and a great place for a new member to post without being overwhelmed with the number of posts that go in different directions

The comments that were deleted added nothing to the thread nor were they a good way for new members to get to know each other. They were one-liners that did not follow Sam's above request. No one is barred from the thread nor is it private. But, again, not all threads need to be subject to casual banter either. Off Topic is full of threads where the banter is prevalent and thoroughly enjoyed by all who visit the forum. But, per Sam's request - please keep this one informative and free of comments that do not relate to the topic. Thank you.
