I can't answer that question for you. It's highly unlikely you'll be caught... But it's also not impossible.

It's either potentially cancel your holiday or suck it up and go.

One final question I'd be going over as a lone passenger before meeting up with friends is this likely to make me stand out more to officials?

Thanks for your help after all the searching of the net and coming across rubbish I've had more from here than anywhere so thanks for your time it's greatly appreciated.

I can't answer that either I'm afraid - I don't think it would make more or less difference to your situation though.

Remember, they don't have a super computer with everyone's criminal details on, you won't show up on interpols watch list (unless you have a warranty out on your arrest) as Interpol relies on voluntary information from national police forces.

For them to find out about your record you'd have to raise serious alarm bells for them to warrant the back checks... Just make sure your passport is in good order and that you know where you are staying etc and you'll be fine.

Thank you very much greatly appreciated!

No problems - I can't give you a certain answer, only a few facts and my opinion.

Best of luck - and you can return the favour by coming back and letting us know how you got on.

Hi does anyone know if they share your information between Canada and USA? My husband got turned away from Canada 13 years ago but only because he declared with local police that he was travelling there and they in turn they informed the Canadian authorities!!

Everything, I mean EVERYTHING is shared between the US and Canada. Situations that had you in contact with the police but didn't even result in an arrest are shared.

Can USA immigration check fingerprints in real time with the U.K.?

Whether the US and the UK share "normal" criminal databases has been answered ad nauseam throughout this thread.
