I am off on my first RTW in september and one of my main concerns is how i am going to transfer my photos from my camera onto a computer. do all internet cafes let you plug in your camera to their computer? Do i need a card reader for this? Sorry being a bit dumb but just want to make sure all my photos are safe!
Many modern internet cafés have memory card readers, otherwise you can almost always plug in your camera via the USB port. Just ask the staff or show them your camera - most of these places are used to puzzled travellers with cameras in hand. Just remember to bring a camera-to-USB-cable! have fun
thanks makini! hopefully ill have no problems then! xx
I found it's a pretty straight forward affair; just whip your memory card out, hand it over, and within about 15 mins your pix are on a CD and you're ready to go....happy days
Just be careful of clumbsy photoshop staff. In Spain I watched on as this guy tried to shove my memory stick into the card reader upside down. After a bit of yelling and screaming to stop we got it all done.
After that I looked for a internet cafe which had cd burners.
Thanks for the tips!!
I was exactly looking for those info :-) :-)
I'll be going to Greece for 3 weeks and I concerned how to manage pics...
