Hey guys

I need some information and i hope you will be able to help me ...Recently my job is connected with lots of travelling ,so i need a worldwide GPS system ..A friend advised me not to buy TomTom ,because it has some connectivity problems in Europe ,and also told me to try some rookies on the market ,which offer free try outs ...So i checked and the most popular one which i found is called NAV4ALL ..-snip- ,which is pretty convinient..The only thing is i that i don`t know if it is safe to do this ..Has anybody checked it out ?

i don't know how it works out in europe, but for me it works in america.. i just got it and i'm yet figuring out some functions, but on overall looks pretty good. the only thing is that it's quite simple and 2D... if u expect 3D as Tomtom you'd not be delighted... although it's worth a try...

Don't be silly Benti! It's just two guys discussing Navigation Software. Now, would you be interested in buying the Tower of London?

Hey, i was surfing around and saw this posting and just registered to reply to it. I've tried both softwares and I thought i could give some feedback... can't I?

Yes, feedback is welcome. Though this thread does look like spam (and probably was), if you have used both systems and have comments about them, please add your input.

Sorry Georgis. It's just that it's a known trick, two newbies starting this "whoa, that's amazing news!"-like conversations. I have been overly zealous mistaking your post for one of that kind :-)

best,
Niels

i am really sorry if my post is suspicious in some sort of way, and i look like a spammer, this is not at all the case, but i guess i can`t do anything to prove it..

i am not very good with that forum thing, but i needed some info about this software and i needed it fast, as it was my only alternative, because i had a working trip in a short time and didn`t have time to look for better options.. So what i did was to go to a couple of forums and post my question, obviously i didn`t do it in the right way,so i say sorry again..

and if u want a feedback - what i can say is that the maps are 2d ,which is not that good ,but the voice commands are ok and u can find your way using them. What is really interesting is that u can download just a selected region and not the whole city map, which reduces the cost..i don`t know about the price, as my company paid the expenses, but it depents on the data traffic, which is pretty subjective ,because sometimes it downloaded very fast, and sometimes -very very slow..I couldn`t understand this-how is it possible for two maps who look approximatelly the same to have different size?
