Hey,
Was just wondering... what is the general check-in time for most hostels in Asia? Can I assume I can check in late at night? I am looking to book Li's hostel in Hong Kong, but the Hostel has no website and my flight will arrive at 11pm. Any ideas would be appreciated.

When you Google Li's Hostel, Hong Kong you get lots and lots of hits.

When you Google Hostels, Hong Kong you get lots of hits.

Between those two sources you should get your question answered or find substitute sleeping arrangements.

check in time will be arnd 2pm.

check-in late at night can be arranged if you prior inform the hostel about your late arrival time. some hostel will also required your credit card information to reserve the booking.

i once checked-in at arnd 8pm+ due to late train, but the hostel reserve the bed for me.

good luck.

It will all depend on the hostel. Some of the bigger ones, in major cities, may even have someone at reception 24 hours a day. I can't say about hong kong, but this was what it was like in other asian cities I have been to.

Of course, some of them will not have this and the owners may have gone to bed and you'll be out of luck. The best bet is to contact that hostel directly and ask.
