I guess all of you unlucky folks have never been to Cuba then?

The Whitsundays have great beaches too.

I think the beaches in Thailand rate as some of the best I've been to. Barbados also has a beautiful beach - Mullins.

Numero1 - I'm off to Cuba soon, so it sounds as though I won't be disappointed!

Hey

Have a great time whilst in Cuba Hem. take the tip... enjoy the fresh grilled fish and salsa dancing on the beach and have a Cuba Libre for all of us on this website who are back at home planning their next big adventure (me included) ;)

I'm sure the Cuban beaches won't let you down especially if you're looking for beaches with a bit of a vibe ;) Try Santa Maria beach when you're in Havana.

Fraser Island is gorgeous... but take a look at Woolacombe in North Devon (England). Beautiful as they come!

Almost any beach in Barbados. Crane Beach on the east coast for sure.. Paynes Bay beach, Sandy lane beach and almost anywhere on the west coast.

I'm also partial to Lower Bay Beach on the island of Bequia in the Grenadines. while it's not spectacular, its a really lovely beach.. quite and just right.

Beach on Formentera Island, Spain
Beaches on Perhentian Islands, Malaysia
Turtle beaches on Zante Island, Greece

In the UK, has to be Barafundle Bay Beach in Pembrokshire, Wales
and Tenby south beach, no very natural, no buildings. Petty it's always too cold for me to swim in! Paddling is as far as I go.

I have lots of favourite beaches but my favourite beach to watch the sunset is Whisky Beach in Wilsons Promitory in Victoria, Australia. Absoulutely amazing!!!
