...and make certain to hit the "delete all offline content" checkbox when you do that.

Yup, I did that. Still took a couple days for the look to change. Perhaps there is a secret cache... Like Bluebeard's treasure.

Hmm, I guess it's possible that your ISP was caching too. Although if so, they did a lousy job of it.

Most browsers refresh these more often, but I did notice when testing different sites on IE for Mac that this could be a problem. I am not sure about IE for PC - Peter, can you check and also how to clear the cache?

Mac IE is notoriously bad at caching things way too eagerly and. IE on the PC doesn't have the same problems. One of the things we changed in this update is the caching headers of the site, basically getting rid of any attempts to force users' caches to be cleared. I think the benefits outweigh the negatives (particularly once this transition period is over) because it should result in pages feeling more responsive. Particularly when you hit the back button, etc..

Of course, if this becomes an ongoing problem we can think of reintroducing some of those rules.

I see. That's quite a good idea actually.

...and it works

That answers that one. I had seen a few posts where people had edited their posts themselves, but couldn't find an edit button anywhere. Didn't want to say anything in case i was going more blind that i suspect...
